Kirby

Kirby arrived at a local shelter after being found on the streets. Debbie was fostering her via the shelter, and when she brought her back for a dog test, Kirby made a run for it and managed to get out the door on one of the coldest days of the year!

Thankfully Debbie found her! She then asked us if she could hospice foster because she knew Kirby wouldn’t do well in the shelter and would likely be euthanized.

Debbie took wonderful care of her, but eventually, her health issues caught up and we had to make the compassionate decision and help her cross over.

We’re forever grateful to Debbie for welcoming Kirby into her home and making her part of her loving family!  It was so rewarding seeing Kirby swimming laps in their beautiful pool and then lounging on a comfy chair.  RIP sweet girl, we love you, and you’re forever in our hearts! ❤️
