Bonnie

Bonnie is forever in our hearts and is dearly loved and missed!

She was adopted by a wonderful family, but at her booster vaccination appointment, the vet discovered a sudden, strong heart murmur.

She had an EKG, and we received the shocking news that she had subaortic stenosis, a narrowing of one of the valves coming out of her heart. She was started on medication, and we’re so grateful her family was so committed to her.

We were hoping to have as much time as possible, but a few months later, Bonnie suddenly passed away after going out for a walk.

She was only 7 months old when her life was tragically cut short. But we find comfort in that she experienced so much love from her fosters and forever family. 

She definitely had a life well lived; we just wish we had had more time together!
