Luke

“Owner died and no one wants him” were the words on the paperwork when Luke was turned into an overcrowded shelter.

Luke was at least 14, but likely older, with hair loss and growths all over his skinny body. He had limited eyesight and seemed very arthritic, but he remained sweet and cuddly.

He was very confused at the shelter, so we hustled to get him to our vet partner.

We were hoping to have more time together but he began declining quickly. After consulting with the vet, we decided the most compassionate act would be to send Luke to be reunited with his person.
