We’re forever grateful that Baloo’s foster family jumped into action when they saw him posted on the Dallas Animal Services euthanasia list. Ballo was heartworm positive, severely anemic, emaciated, and covered in sores

His family welcomed him into their loving home and gave him a wonderful 7 weeks of the sweet life! It feels so unfair to lose him so soon after being rescued, but we are thankful he experienced love, kindness, and compassion from so many people.

Poor Baloo’s body had been through so much; he just couldn’t go on any more. His loving foster family held him while he passed.
