Jobe
With heavy hearts we share the passing of alum Jobe fka #projectotis
We rescued Jobe after a local shelter posted an emergency plea for help for a puppy who ingested rat poison while on the streets…we were expecting he’d be in critical condition when we went to pick him up but thankfully the sweetest puppy came trotting up wagging his tail and quickly stole our hearts!
We’re so thankful he survived such a scary start on the streets and went on to find the loving family he deserved all along!
We’re forever grateful to Julie and Jack for adopting sweet Jobe and giving him such a wonderful life full of love and sharing this beautiful tribute:
“We let our sweet Jobe go Monday afternoon, undoubtedly the hardest thing we’ve ever done. And though he is gone from our home, he will always be in our hearts. He fell asleep eating an ice cream cone at the vet’s.
Sweet Jobe Dixon. Handsome, patient, noble Jobe. He rescued us almost 7 years ago & it was an honor to have him as family. A neighborhood favorite, known for his calm disposition & red booties. He had a voracious appetite & a love for chasing squirrels. He was affectionate & friendly; never met a stranger. He barked at really loud thunder, the nearby church bells & Great Danes.
We miss him dearly. His big sighs, walk excitement, one white toe & huge tail wags.
Godspeed, Jobe. Chase as much as you want. You’ve been such a good, brave boy. We love you with all our heart.”
Our deepest sympathies to Jobe’s loving family
We love you #ProjectJobe and you’re forever in our hearts!
