#ProjectRudolph – Now Known as Orzo
Orzo, originally known as #ProjectRudolph through The Street Dog Project, was adopted in early 2022—and a few years later, he’s living a life full of love, community, and giant-sized charm. We’re thrilled to share his update!
Pup-Dates from His Family
“I always told myself that as long as I lived alone and in an apartment, I’d never get a puppy. But in January 2022, I adopted 8-week-old Orzo (aka Project Rudolph), and I truly can’t imagine life unfolding any other way. Orzo may be turning four, but everyone who meets him guesses he’s at least twice that age! At a whopping 108 lbs, he’s the definition of a gentle giant—calm, sweet, and patient. Well… except when he sees his favorite people, whom he greets with his signature overly enthusiastic face kisses.”
“He spends his days dutifully keeping watch from the home office, his mornings and evenings collecting sticks on long walks through the neighborhood, and his nights cozied up with his beloved Snuggle Puppy (on a bed aptly labeled ‘Goliath’).
Orzo might be the most famous four-legged dude in the neighborhood. He has more canine friends than you’d believe and is a beloved regular at the Crate & Barrel across the street, where they keep treats for him on every floor. I’ve made so many dear friends thanks to Orzo—he has a way of bringing people together wherever he goes.”
Backstory
Originally one of nine pups in the Reindeer Litter, Orzo was born to Buddy and Jovie – two sweet dogs rescued after being found tied to railroad tracks near Fort Worth, TX. Once known as #ProjectRudolph, he’s now thriving with his forever family and proving just how extraordinary rescue dogs can be.
